Cross Country Course-
Yesterday we spruced up the 108 (for those of you unfamiliar with the course, the 108 is the longest bridge on the cross county course, a new addition added for last year’s event…as you may have guessed it is 108 ft. long, and it is an over/under for the citizen’s downhill course) with the help of Timmy H, our carpenter extraordinaire.
World Cup DH Course
With the help of Kyle B. and Josh L. and their handy excavator and expertise we sculpted some killer berms that will provide the riders with some sick new lines. Ian S. worked on one of the new sections in the woods that Lee H and Ian P cut in, helping to get it ready to be ridden.
All in all a hot day but a good amount of productive work was done. Next week will be working on the 40 foot road gap and the excavated woods section, complete with berms, jumps and a couple of other surprises.
Please don’t forget, Volunteer Nights/Days are Tuesday at 5:30PM and Saturday at 10:00AM. Meet at Windham Mountain Outfitters, 61 State Rt. 296, Windham NY. Bring the tools that you’re comfortable using, and come help us make this course epic.
